PHS/MWA Aviation Services is the corporate entity for Pacific Hydraulic Systems Division (PHS) and Motor Winding Associates Division (MWA).

Established in 1967, Motor Winding Associates Division (MWA) was founded on manufacturing high quality electric motors, stators, and rotors for a variety of Original Equipment Manufacturers in the Aviation and Aerospace communities. Using experience, reputation, and innovation, Motor Winding Associates Division became a certified FAA Repair Station in 1992.

Pacific Hydraulic Systems Division (PHS) was founded in 1993 based on the acquisition and relocation of Abex Aerospace by Parker Hannifin Corporation. Through relationships forged between Motor Winding Associates and Abex Aerospace , the formation of a new independent hydraulics repair facility was realized and brought to fruition. Purchasing the remaining assets and hiring remaining personnel from Abex Aerospace together with the vast industry experience and knowledge of MWA allowed PHS a quick and effective entry into an active third party repair market.

Through the 1990’s into present times, Motor Winding Associates Division and Pacific Hydraulic Systems Division have expanded and evolved into industry leaders of aircraft component repair services and have gained a reputation as a frontrunner in DER/PMA solutions for a diversity of higher assembly and subassembly applications.

PHS/MWA is now recognized as a full service Repair & Manufacturing facility operating as one company to provide more comprehensive support for our valued customers through a wider range of capability. PHS/MWA provides comprehensive repair support for all models of Airbus, Boeing, and Douglas Commercial and Military Aircraft as well as all models of CRJ, ERJ, and business aircraft platforms. Repair services include capability specific product lines in ATA chapters 21, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29, 32, 38, 49, 52, & 78.
